Bart Ward grew up in Minnesota and is a graduate from UCLA. He interned at the Securities & Exchange Commission for
three years. In the early 1980's he worked for a regional Los Angeles, CA broker/dealer and in 1982 formed the investment management firm of Leer Pfeiffer Ward
Corporation (LPW). LPW's focus was on analyzing a select group of 134 New York Stock Exchange listed companies. A subsidiary of LPW, OnLine Market Systems, designed and sold high speed ticker tape reading
devices to institutional clients. These systems are responsible for interrogationg and analyzing ticker tape transactional data, providing intermediate and long-term decision support for the stocks listed in the
Dow Jones Industrail Average and the Standard & Poor's 100.In 1986, Mr. Ward relocated back to Minneapolis/St. Paul. During his career, he has hosted such financial television and radio programs as the
Ticker Tape Report, MoneyTalk, and This Is Wall Street. He currently writes the syndicated market column known as The Corner. He has written over 690 of these columns. Mr. Ward has
authored numerous articles on the stock market, economics, and American financial and Wall Street history. He is regularly featured in newspaper articles and commentaries and is recognized as an authority or
organization, management and operation of the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Ward is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager of Ward & Company, Ltd., a Minneapolis/St. Paul based
registered investment advisor -- specializing in the management of stock & bond portfolios. The firm only invests in companies that are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
