Ward & Company market report for Wednesday, May 06, 2015

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 86 to 17,841 on 2.4 billion shares traded.  The NYSE Common Index closed down 33 to 11,0159.

The DJIA was opened lower on light public institutional selling. Stock prices traded in a narrow range into the close.

At the close, 1032 stocks were up, 1303 stocks were down and 75 stocks were unchanged for the day.

Important big block activity occurred in Delta Airlines and Coca Cola.
